The McPherson Convention and Visitors Bureau is available to assist with convention planning. Customized itineraries are based on group needs, allotted time and availability of local facilities and personnel.

Events

Community events showcase the heart and soul of McPherson. Activities are available throughout the year for all ages. Relax under the stars in Lakeside Park while attending the free Movies in the Park series. Taste a chili or soup sample during the Burnin' Down Main cook-off sponsored by McPherson Main Street. Or celebrate the 4th of July with fireworks and ice cream at Wall Park. Each day you will discover another reason why there's no place like McPherson!

Community Calendar

McPherson is a vibrant community offering events and activities throughout the year. Basketball tournaments hosted at McPherson High School Roundhouse in January showcase prominent boys and girls high schools teams from around the state. The C.A.R.S. Club Motoring Festival hosted by McPherson College each spring supports automotive restoration efforts. Shop the Night Away in July promotes downtown businesses with sales, door prizes, food and a free movie.
